Roger dale

Roger Dale, born on 13 September 1950 in Liverpool, is a Canadian and English landscape painter who lives in Strasbourg. He has also been a professor at the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin since the early 1980s.

His work is mainly landscape, exclusively on nature. Roger Dale is particularly interested in reality and how we look at it, and the balance between order and chaos: how order is entangled with chaos. Since 1979, he has exhibited in various places around the world, especially in Europe and the United States, but also in Egypt. He is also involved in various art institutions in France, Germany, England, Canada and in Egypt. In 1994, Roger Dale created a series of one hundred paintings inside the former Nazi concentration camp of Struthof, showing views from the outside, under the title "Struthof: 100 Views of Freedom".

Patrick Bailly-Maître-Grand has exhibited all over the world and his works are in the collections of prestigious museums such as the MoMa in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the National Fund for Contemporary Art, the Victoria Museum in Melbourne, the Sainsbury Center in Norwich (UK), The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Strasbourg, the Museet for Fotokunst of Odense, etc.

Jean-Pierre Ritsch-Fisch

After a career as a collector which began in the early 1970s with the Narrative Figuration, in 1996 Jean-Pierre Ritsch-Fisch founded his gallery, specialising in Art Brut and Outsider Art. In 1989, Jean-Pierre Ritsch-Fisch discovered the works of Michel Nedjar in the Daniel Cordier donation at the National Museum of Modern Art, and decided to meet him and to collect Art Brut.

Since 1999, the gallery has taken part in major international fairs and has advised many French and foreign collectors. The ideal or perfect collection does not exist. And that's a good thing! A collection is a coming together of a set of works and therefore of artists, with which there is a common empathy.
